Tasks
- Develop and implement global category strategies aligned with business objectives
- Analyze spend, market trends, and supply risks on a global level
- Define and execute sourcing strategies (e.g. make-or-buy, single vs. multi-sourcing)
- Lead global supplier selection, negotiations, and contract management
- Drive cost savings, value creation, and total cost of ownership (TCO) improvements
- Collaborate with regional/local procurement teams to align global and local needs
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks (e.g. geopolitical, financial, capacity risks)
- Support innovation and sustainability initiatives with key suppliers
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements
- Lead or contribute to global procurement projects and transformation initiatives
- Provide category insights and reporting to senior management and stakeholders
- Willingness to travel of approx. 10–20%
Your Profile
- University Degree in business or economics
- Minimum of 6–8 years of professional experience in international procurement (raw materials)
- Results-oriented with a strong ownership mindset
- Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented working style
- Continuous improvement and learning mindset
- Strong skills in Excel, BI tools, and ERP systems (e.g. SAP)
- Ability to lead global category initiatives without direct authority
- Excellent negotiation skills at senior level
- Experience with global sourcing and supplier consolidation
- Fluent spoken and written English skills (global working environment)

The minimum gross salary for this position is € 3.236,14 per month on a full-time basis. We offer a compensation package that significantly reflects your skills and experience.
